How it works
Organized by us. Built by named professionals.
Local Construction Company owns the customer experience — intake, inspection scheduling, estimates and communication — and works with experienced independent contractors to deliver the work. Here’s exactly how that works.
Who you contract with
Always clear. Always in writing.
Depending on your project, the agreement is structured one of these ways. Your proposal states which one applies before you sign or pay.
Most projects
Partner-contracted
An independent contracting partner signs the construction agreement with you and is responsible for the installation and its warranty. Local Construction Company coordinates scheduling, estimates and communication.
When it fits
Separately managed
You sign a construction agreement with the installer and a separate, clearly defined coordination agreement with Local Construction Company — with fees, responsibilities and authority spelled out.
Selected projects
Direct with Local Construction Company
Local Construction Company signs the agreement with you and engages qualified subcontractors, taking on the prime-contract responsibilities for your project.
Before you sign, your proposal names:
- The contracting companyWho signs the agreement with you.
- The payment recipientWho you pay, and when.
- The installation supervisorWho runs the job on site.
- The warranty providerWorkmanship and manufacturer coverage.
- InsuranceThe carrier covering the work.
- Your point of contactWho to call with questions or concerns.
Partner standards
How we select installation partners.
Installation partners are selected for relevant experience, insurance and project fit before we introduce them to a homeowner. These are the criteria we apply.
- 01
Insurance reviewed
Proof of current insurance is reviewed before a partner is introduced to a homeowner.
- 02
Minimum ratings
Preferred contractors must hold at least a 4.7-star Google rating and an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. These ratings belong to the contractors themselves, not to Local Construction Company.
- 03
Relevant experience
Time in trade, comparable completed projects and references for the type of work assigned.
- 04
Written agreements
A signed partner agreement covering conduct, communication, cleanup, warranty handling and homeowner disclosures.
- 05
Credentials kept honest
A partner’s credentials belong to the partner. We mention them only after confirming them with the issuer — and never present them as Local Construction Company’s own.
- 06
Homeowner feedback
We ask every homeowner how their project went and use that feedback when assigning future work.
Storm damage & insurance
We document. Your insurer decides.
For storm-related work we provide construction documentation — photos, measurements and a written repair scope — that you may choose to share with your insurer. We do not negotiate claims, act as a public adjuster, or offer to waive or cover deductibles. Coverage is determined by your insurer under your policy.
